It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our esteemed colleague, Dr. Renee Rolston.

A devoted physician, gifted surgeon and dedicated researcher, Dr. Rolston touched the lives of countless patients, colleagues and trainees. Since 2023, she served as an Assistant Professor of Urology at Weill Cornell Medicine and cared for patients at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Queens.

Dr. Rolston was widely recognized as a highly skilled urogynecologist and reconstructive pelvic surgeon who cared for patients with complex pelvic health needs. Having completed two fellowship training programs, Dr. Rolston was deeply committed to inclusive, specialized care for all patients.

She will be remembered for her warmth, generosity, kindness, expertise and unwavering professionalism. Dr. Rolston’s passion for patient and trainee advocacy was evident in all she did, and her legacy extends far beyond her many impressive clinical and academic accomplishments.
