This program is a four-week course that allows medical students gain clinical experience within the adult and pediatric divisions of the Department of Urology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Visiting students will spend time at the Upper East Side, Queens, and Brooklyn campuses, gaining invaluable experience, managing the full breadth of complex urologic conditions.

While on the visiting student rotation, students will function as an integral member of the residency team, rotating through outpatient clinical and operative settings. Students will participate in educational opportunities through our department’s weekly grand round meetings, didactic lectures, and residency conferences. They will also be required to prepare and present one formal grand rounds presentation based on a clinical case that they were involved in during the month.

If you are a student at Weill Cornell Medicine (WCM) or another medical institution, you can apply through the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) website.
